Bexley, UKA murder investigation has been launched after a 17-year-old boy was fatally injured in a suspected stabbing in Battersea, south-west London. Metropolitan Police officers were called to Glycena Road at around 4.20am on Saturday following reports of a stabbing linked to a possible altercation. Emergency services, including paramedics and an air ambulance, attended the scene and found the teenager with serious injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers. No arrests have been made, and a large crime scene remains in place while surrounding roads are closed.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone who saw a group of males running in the Lavender Hill area between 4am and 5am. Police are also seeking CCTV, doorbell camera, and mobile phone footage that could assist the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
